Gili Air is located north west of Lombok, easily accessible from the main land of Lombok and only a short boat ride away from the east coast of Bali. Surrounded by crystal clear water, draped in Palm trees and blessed with beautiful tropical beaches it is famous for diving and snorkelling, its excellent food and laid back atmosphere. No motorised vehicles are allowed on any of the 3 Islands, which adds to the romance of the Gilis. If the one-hour walk around the Island requires too much energy you can travel by Cidomo (horse cart), which is basically the Gili version of a taxi!
